Hi, I'm Thomas Bozarth, Sr. son of Harold Bozarth. I made this picture for
my father to show him that I was proud of him and his brothers for what
they did for us. The pictures were taken at different times and different
places, I just put them together and added the background. George was in
the Army Reserves, Bill was in the Paratroopers, Howard was in the Artillery,

The item on the left is a ball-headed warclub,a traditional weapon of most eastern
woodlands tribes. It is made in tradional fashion from an entire hickory sapling. Yes,
the ball and handle are all one piece.The ball end is stained with black walnut and
the handle is decorated with copper tacks. These are made by Steven Carty, and usually
take him a whole winter to carve one,and sometimes longer to find the right sapling.
The item on the right is an elk skin and turtle shell bag. Steve has crafted various
items and styles of leather work over the years. You can contact Steven at
